It's an understatement when we say we love music. Our background comes from years of touring, experiencing food in a different city every day, and the creative process of creating music. So when our good buddy Joesph Neville wanted to have a collaboration dinner concert, we couldn't say no! We've known Joseph for a few years now and have become really good friends over the years. We both share a passion for music, but more importantly, working hard at a craft that most people would dream about. He's a powerful story teller in his music, so out of all the artists we know, his story and style compliments what Heshima is all about.
For this dinner, we went with a modified farm to table style menu. Being a Fort Worth native, and also growing up on a farm, the ability to take simple things that you can grow in your back yard is important because it also lets our community know that food is not complicating at all and more than a show on Netflix.
Our drink pairings also included some Texas makers such as our friends at Acre distillery, and also our house favorite Becker Vineyard.
Food and music are two things that strangers will always bond over, so being able to end the year of 2022 with a bang was incredible for us! Cheers.
